Prime Minister Mahamadoun TourĂ©’sRT has chaired, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Major General Abdoulaye Maiga, the opening ceremony of the preparatory work for the Government Action Plan 2027-2031, held on Thursday, 8 October 2026 at the Primature.
The development of the new Government Action Plan (PAG 2027-2031) is taking place in a context in which our country intends to consolidate the gains achieved, draw lessons from the implementation of the PAG 2025-2026 and further strengthen the effectiveness, coherence and impact of public action.
This strategic approach, which included the Secretaries-General of the ministerial departments, will address the alignment of public policies, the articulation of priority programmes and effective resource mobilization guidance. All this with the aim of providing concrete and measurable answers to the legitimate aspirations of our citizens.
“The PAG 2027-2031 will thus have to be a real instrument for steering and transformation, ensuring a better link between national policies, public policies, development programmes and projects, and the resources available,” explained the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff.
The Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff congratulated the highest authorities on the launch of this strategic and operational exercise, which requires the commitment, responsibility and contribution of all actors in public life and national development. He also recalled that the Government’s Action Plan 2025-2026, currently being implemented, was a rich experience in this regard in order to better understand the requirements of alignment and coherence.
Work on formulation and consultation will continue in order to finalize this framework of government action for the coming years.
